Good piece outlining how cooperation between humans and AI currently looks a lot like the AI operating the human at a distance. Also reminiscent of the "magical earring" device from the Astral Codex Ten piece.
I find this a scary prospect. A future where humans are grunts with no autonomy, being operated by masters beyond our understanding is frightening to me.
